Tell your representatives: Reject Trump-style raids and mass deportations!

We all want to live with dignity, in a safe community that we can call home.

EU ministers want to tear that safety apart. They have just agreed on a proposal that pushes Europe toward Trump-style immigration policies - including home raids of migrants and those in solidarity with them, searches of personal devices, and deportations to countries people have never lived in.

Tomorrow, national and EU leaders will meet in Brussels. Their stance now matters: even though the Council’s technical position is set, Heads of state decide the political direction - and whether the EU continues with its hardline approach, or tries to rein in the next steps of this dangerous law.

This is our moment to show them the public is watching - and refuses a Europe built on fear, raids, and mass deportations.

• Say why you're writing: i.e. I am deeply concerned that Europe is moving toward Trump-style immigration policies. 

• Be clear in your ask:
  - Urge your EU representatives to publicly oppose the Deportation Regulation.
  - Call on them to push for a migration approach based on dignity, safety, and fairness, not fear.

• Remind them they represent you:
  - Tell them they act in your name, and you expect them to defend rights and protect families.

• Make clear that you and many others are following this closely. 

• Strengthen your message: mention that welcoming policies strengthen societies - we need solutions that help communities thrive, not divide them.
