Stop Trump-Style Deportations in Europe

Next week, the European Parliament could vote on Trump-style deportations in Europe. A scary law that would make it easier to detain people and deport them - even to countries they’ve never even set foot in.

This proposal crosses clear red lines.

It risks creating offshore “return hubs” - places outside Europe where people can be sent and held while waiting to be deported, far from public scrutiny.

It gives police agents broader powers to stop and question people in everyday spaces.

And it opens the door to the detention of children and families.

Many politicians have condemned Trump-style deportations and the abuses linked to ICE. Reproducing those same practices in Europe would cross a line - and expose a stark hypocrisy.

Your message can strengthen those defending fundamental rights - and make our politicians think twice before becoming like Trump.
