 "We must prevent ACUAES from wantonly clearing the primitive forest of the Natural Park" WELCOME TO THE NATURAL PARK a highly protected area: If approved they will build a SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT in the center of "La Dehesa de Benaojan" "PUMP STATION" Destruction of 600mts2 of forest at the entrance gate. The "MAIN TREATMENT PLANT" will be built on forest land of 6000 square mts. with an "APPROACH ROAD" 6mts long X 1.3KM long. All this requires the destruction of protected fauna and 150 ANCIENT OAKS THERE ARE SUITABLE ALTERNATIVES outside the "Natural Park" We are not against the treatment plant it is very necessary to clean the Guadiaro river.  We are against the unnecessary destruction of the forest.

Why is this important?

"We must prevent ACUAES from wantonly clearing the primitive forest of the Natural Park" The Silvema Serranía de Ronda-Ecologistas en Acción Association has denounced the "inefficiency" of the state company Acuaes in the presentation of the Benaoján, Montejaque treatment plant project. This documentation is currently been evaluated environmentaly after being denounced by Silvema who consider the side totally unsuitable due to destruction of ancient and irreplaceable natural forest. Placing the sewage treatment plant at one of the logical alternatives outside the Natural Park would avoid an unnecessary pumping station, added costs and maintenance, together with ambiental destruction. Let's do everything in our power to prevent the cruelty of politicians and the desire to make money from destroying beautiful enviroment. Let's fight for the future of our forests and natur. There are not only people and their needs in the world. Animals and plants are also part of this planet. Let us always remember this.
