Europe: stop sending arms to Israel

Why is this important?

As the bombs rain down on Palestine, Lebanon and Israel, it’s clear our governments have failed us.  Failed because European governments continue to supply weapons to Israel. [1] The very weapons that are decimating precious lives, hospitals, and any potential for peace.

From Italy, to Germany,  to the UK - our governments are only fueling the escalating violence in the Middle East by selling and sending  weapons to Israel. [2] They must stop. 

Hate begets hate, violence begets violence, toughness begets a greater toughness. [3] Until the weapons and killings stop, there can be no peace, only more death. If the Israeli government’s main source of weapons runs out, peace will have to be their focus.

The calls for peace across the globe are growing each day - from governments to people like us in the WeMove Europe community.  These are the moments in history that can tip the scales. 

It’s time to take definitive non-violent action to end this decades long nightmare.
