No EU Business with War Criminals

There can be no continuation of the EU-Israel Association Agreement while the Israeli government systematically bombs civilians and deliberately starves the population in Gaza.
Under Article 2 of the EU-Israel Association Agreement, cooperation must be suspended if one party commits serious breaches of human rights. That threshold has long been surpassed, as documented by all major human rights organisations.
We therefore urge the EU and its Member States to:
- Freeze ALL trade with Israel: Immediately suspend the the EU-Israel Association Agreement
- Stop ALL arms exports to Israel
- Impose sanctions on Israeli officials and settlers responsible for the blockade and mass atrocities across Palestine
Why is this important?
Update from 1 April 2026
Israel has just passed an execution law mandating the death penalty by hanging for Palestinians convicted in military courts. [1]
Several European countries say they are “deeply concerned” over the law - including Italy, Germany, France and the UK - yet continue doing business as usual with Israel. [2]
Words do not stop executions. Words do not stop bombs. Words do not stop the killing.
If they are truly concerned, they must suspend the EU-Israel Association Agreement. The EU is Israel’s largest trading partner, so stopping trade hits where it hurts. [3]
Right now, politicians across Europe are under growing pressure - but they are hesitating, waiting to see if this outrage fades in a few days, or turns into pressure they cannot ignore.

If enough of us speak out now, we can make it impossible for them to keep doing business as usual. We’ve seen it before: when public pressure rises, governments shift - from silence, to statements, to real action. [4]
