No EU Business with War Criminals
To the European Commission, the European Parliament, and European Member States
Petition
There can be no continuation of the EU-Israel Association Agreement while the Israeli government systematically bombs civilians and deliberately starves the population in Gaza.
Under Article 2 of the EU-Israel Association Agreement, cooperation must be suspended if one party commits serious breaches of human rights. That threshold has long been surpassed, as documented by all major human rights organisations.
We therefore urge the EU and its Member States to:
- Freeze ALL trade with Israel: Immediately suspend the the EU-Israel Association Agreement
- Stop ALL arms exports to Israel
- Impose sanctions on Israeli officials and settlers responsible for the blockade and mass atrocities across Palestine
Why is this important?
Update from 21 April 2026
Nothing seems to be off limits to Israel's genocidal leaders. From starving civilians and bombing Lebanon, to introducing the death penalty only for Palestinians. [1]
And still, the European Union remains Israel’s biggest trading partner. With Italy as its third largest arms supplier. [2]
But finally, the tide is turning.
Italy’s Giorgia Meloni recently suspended the renewal of a 20-year defence agreement with Israel. [3]
This matters. Because it’s not happening in isolation.
Belgium and Spain are pushing for sanctions on Israel. More than a million people across Europe are demanding action. And a new global flotilla will soon set sail for Gaza. [4]
The pressure to suspend the EU trade deal with Israel is rising - fast.
As you read this, European leaders are meeting in Luxembourg to decide what happens next. [5]
This is where you come in.
Sign the petition and tell the EU leaders: suspend the EU-Israel trade deal now!
