We call on you to get rid of all Investor-State Settlement Dispute (ISDS) mechanisms from existing treaties and to stop signing new treaties with any form of ISDS.

Why is this important?

Big mining corporation Rio Tinto is back.

Not long ago, we joined locals to shut down a toxic mine in Serbia. [1] The mining giant lost to people power. But now they're using a secretive court to get their way. [2]

These hidden courts put corporations’ interests first. Their hand-picked judges use their power to rule in favour of corporate investors - no matter the cost to people or planet. [3]

But now people across Europe are waking up. We know that if enough of us speak out, we can win.

We stopped Rio Tinto before. With protests at their headquarters, pressure on their shareholders, and a massive petition that forced their permits to be withdrawn. Together, we can win again!

But we must mobilise before the court rules in favour of Rio Tinto.

Let’s be the outcry that brings it to the news and forces our governments to walk away from all secretive courts!
