Women across Europe are asking for your help.

Next Thursday, the European Commission will make a final decision on the My Voice, My Choice initiative - the movement fighting to guarantee safe, affordable and accessible abortion care for all women in Europe. [1]

Right now, safe abortion access depends on where you live, how much money you have, the government that rules your country and whether you can travel away from it. 

For many women across Europe, this means there are insurmountable barriers preventing real choice over their own bodies. It means pain, silence and fear.

My Voice, My Choice has carried this fight for all women across borders for many years - and now they’ve asked the WeMove Europe community to help with one final push. We need Commissioners to feel the strength of public support, asking them to lead the way towards a new era for reproductive and women’s rights in Europe.

They asked for our help because they know that EU decision-makers listen to us. That they take our opinion into account. That we have won battles in the past, and we will do it again.

Because this decision isn’t just words on paper. It’s about our dignity. The safety of millions of human beings. And the simple truth that healthcare - including abortion care - should never depend on luck.
